OFF THE BEATEN PATH IN COBAN

Josue is amazing!! I am traveling to Guatemala soon and he helped answer any questions I had without asking for anything in return. I had the best trip from Guatemala City to Semuc Champey thanks to Josue. He is so helpful and kind, and basically planned everything for me. He organized the cheapest buses from Guatemala City, told me where to get tickets, and met me in Cobán. He even has a great accommodation in Cobán where I stayed for two nights. The next day, we traveled to Semuc Champey together by public bus and tuktuk. He never rushed me and made sure I had the perfect day. He's super knowledgeable about the park, nature, and Guatemala in general, and he's really fun to be around! He also does tours to the nearby caves. I can’t recommend him enough—if you want a stress-free, awesome trip, he’s your guide.
